Person Dead in Rollover Accident on Las Vegas Boulevard
Thursday, February 11, 2010
The Nevada Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation into a fatal rollover accident on Wednesday on Las Vegas Boulevard.
The accident occurred near the I-215 interchange, and
involved a car and a pickup truck. Apparently, the pickup truck collided with
the Chevrolet which was traveling south on the road. The impact caused the
truck to flip over. A female passenger in
the car was killed in the accident. A man in the pickup truck and two people in
the car, were also injured.
In fact, every year, thousands of people are killed in
accidents, caused not because the motorist in question was intoxicated or
texting on his cell phone, but because he or she couldn’t be bothered to stop
at a red light, or keep equal distance from the vehicle in front. Other accidents are caused by a momentary lack
of attention to the road resulting in the car veering from its lane, tailgating,
making wrong turns etc.
